Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has ordered to dismiss and suspend four doctors of GTB and Loknayak who refused to treat the injured person even after admitting him in the hospital. The Delhi Health Department had proposed to dismiss one doctor each from GTB and Loknayak and suspend one doctor each from both the hospitals. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has given his approval to this and the file has been sent to Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. In this matter, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal says that the Delhi government is committed to providing the best health facilities to its citizens. This kind of negligence will not be tolerated at all.
Let us tell you that on the night of 2-3 January, the police had taken an accused to the hospital. The accused had jumped into the moving police van. He had suffered serious head injury. The police took the seriously injured man to Jag Jeevan Prakash Hospital. From there he was referred to GTB. When the police brought him to GTB, the doctor on duty at that time refused to admit him. Then the police took him to Loknayak Hospital, but here too the doctor on duty at that time refused to admit the injured and treat him. The seriously injured person died due to not getting proper treatment on time.
